Prior to her financial planning career, Maitland worked for 30 years as a tennis pro at Racquettime Tennis Club and for three years with tennis legend Billie Jean King on establishing the New England recreational World TeamTennis leagues. Maitland continues to apply King’s competitive “pressure is a privilege” ethos to her financial planning work and attributes success—whether on the court, in the orchestra, or on one’s retirement plan—to persistence and determination.
